¿Cúal es el significado del nombre? Su historia.
El nombre de la banda viene de la pelicula “La gran aventura de Pee Wee” de Tim Burton, amamos esa película!
¿Dónde está “el punto fuerte” en sus canciones?
Nos emocionan nuestras canciones porque las componemos complementariamente. Cuando una canción está terminada, sabemos que refleja una parte de cada una de nosotras individualmente.
¿Cómo se conocieron?
Yo solía tocar en una banda con el novio de Annie. Nos conocimos y nos hicimos amigas instantáneamente, así que decidimos empezar una banda con solamente teclados. Heather era una amiga del barrio. Como era muy copado lo que hacia en artes escénicas y tenia un muy buen gusto en la música, la invitamos a que se nos una.
¿En que ciudad viven? ¿Cómo es la escena allí?
Vivímos en Brooklyn, New York. Es una comunidad amorosa. A menudo salimos de fiesta con nuestros amigos y disfrutamos de la buena vibra, del sentimiento de estar en casa y del cambio de las estaciones. Además, siempre hay algo creativo y divertido para hacer!
¿Cúales son sus bandas amigas de la ciudad?
Grizzly Bear, TV On The Radio, Purse Snatchers, Uninhabitable Mansions, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Apache Beat.
¿Cúales son sus discos de la niñez? ¿Qué música escuchaban sus padres?
Todas tuvimos diferentes discos sonando en nuestras casa mientras crecíamos pero todas amamos a los Beatles.
¿Qué otras influencias no musicales, les dan ideas o motivación para su música?
La naturaleza, la amistad y el amor.
¿Qué canciones suenan mejor en vivo?
Nos gusta tocar algunas lentas canciones ensoñadoras junto a algunas divertidas y bailables durante nuestro show.
¿En qué otros proyectos están involucradas?
Annie está tocando en una banda llamada Uninhabitable Mansions.

What’s the meaning of the name? The history.
Our band name comes from the movie by Tim Burton called «Pee Wee’s Big Adventure» we love the movie!
Where’s the «strong point» in your songs?
We get excited about our songs because we write them collaboratively. When a song is finished, we know that it reflects a piece of all three of us as individuals.
How did you meet each other?
I used to play in a band with annie’s boyfriend. We met and became friends instantly and decided to start and all keyboard band. Heather was a friend from the neighborhood. She was cool, in the art scene and has very good taste in music so we invited her to join as well.
Where do you live? How is the scene there?
We live in Brooklyn New York. It is a very lovely community. We often run into friends walking down the street and enjoy the energy, the feeling of home and the changing of the seasons. Plus, there is always something fun & creative to do!

What where the records of your childhood? What music did your parents listen?
We all had different records playing in our homes growing up but we all loved The Beatles.

Nature, Friendship, Love.
Which song sounds better in your shows?
We like to play some slow dreamy songs and some fun dance songs during a show.
